Seeing things in a different way
This post slipped into the GP blog by mistake, it was destined for the LP paxtonvic site. I’ll leave it here all the same!
Here’s a great picture of one of Baker’s workmen right at the top of St James tower as the high level work continues on the bell and clock project. Life must look very different up there!
Ive now knocked on or rang nearly 200 doors and have met so many lovely people in the village I had never met before. It is certainly changing how I feel about living here in a good way- instead of driving past closed doors, I now know who lives behind a lot of them. Im very grateful to everyone who has invited me in and taken time to talk – about all sorts of things. Just c £1,300 houses to go… this might take till Christmas!
